Powerful License Plate Recognition Camera for Mobile Monitoring.

HIGHLIGHTED FEATURES

Compact Fixed ANPR Camera

Small form‑factor camera designed for permanent installations where space is limited.

Onboard ANPR Processing

License plate recognition runs directly on the camera using the Carmen® engine, removing the need for a separate ANPR server.

Single‑Cable PoE Installation

Power and data are delivered over a single PoE connection for simple, clean installs.

Integrated IR Illumination

Built‑in infrared lighting enables reliable plate capture day and night without external illuminators.

Rugged Outdoor Design

Weather‑rated metal housing suitable for long‑term outdoor operation in access control and roadside environments.

INTEGRATION OVERVIEW

Edge‑Based Processing

MicroCAM performs ANPR directly on the camera using the onboard Carmen® engine. Licence plate recognition and basic vehicle data are generated locally, removing the need for a central ANPR server and simplifying mobile system design.

Mobile Connectivity and Power

The camera connects via Ethernet and is powered using PoE. In mobile deployments this is typically provided by an in‑vehicle router or PoE injector, allowing MicroCAM to be integrated into compact systems using 4G/5G backhaul without fixed infrastructure.

Event‑Based Data Output

Recognition results are delivered as structured events rather than raw video for off‑device processing. Plate reads and related metadata can be pushed in real time or retrieved by the host system, supporting efficient integration while keeping bandwidth requirements low.

System Integration

MicroCAM integrates via documented APIs and standard interfaces and is designed to work with Adaptive Recognition platforms as well as third‑party systems. It is commonly deployed in mobile enforcement, traffic monitoring, and vehicle‑based recognition applications, either as a standalone unit or as part of a wider mobile solution.
