INTEGRATION OVERVIEW

Integrated Speed and ANPR Processing

VIDAR Speed combines radar‑based speed measurement, ANPR, and vehicle recognition directly within the unit. Speed, plate, and vehicle data are generated together at the device, removing the need for separate radar systems or external processing hardware.

Fixed Infrastructure Deployment

The system is designed for roadside installation on poles or gantries, integrating into standard network environments. Its all‑in‑one design reduces additional field hardware and simplifies site layout for multi‑lane applications.

Structured Event Generation

Each vehicle detection produces a complete event package including speed, lane position, direction, licence plate, and vehicle attributes. This approach supports consistent downstream handling for enforcement and analytics systems.

Backend and System Integration

VIDAR Speed communicates via standard network protocols and APIs, allowing straightforward integration with enforcement platforms, back‑office systems, and central data servers. It is typically deployed as part of larger traffic or enforcement networks across multiple sites.
